The business is compliant with Tfl licence condition 9(14) of the 2000 Regulations in accordance with English contract law to endeavour to provide the journey that is the subject of a booking.
We can furthermore confirm that we enter into a contractual obligation as principal to endeavour to provide the journey which is the subject of the booking and this contractual obligation is consistent with the 1998 Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act Regulations and English contract law.
The business is responsible and liable for anything that may occur on the journeys subject to accepted bookings. This is in turn subject to force majeure and Acts of God, with liability limited to the value of the journey concerned.
The business enters into a contractual obligation as agent to endeavour to provide the journey which is the subject of the booking and this contractual obligation is also consistent with the 1998 Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act Regulations and English contract law and the requirements of TfL licence conditions including 9(14) of the 2000 Regulations.
- Smoking, drinking or consumption of food is not permitted in any vehicle.
- Some journeys may require a deposit or upfront payment, if this is unsuccessful, we have the right to cancel the journey.
- Any abuse to drivers or unacceptable behaviour or if a driver feels at risk, the driver has the right to ask the passengers to leave the vehicle.
- Any damage or soiling to a vehicle, the driver may charge to cover costs incurred.
- A standard journey is from one address to another, any additional pick-ups and drop offs will be charged for.
- All Toll charges and London Congestion charges are charged separately unless stated.
- We have the right to cancel any booking at any time.
- Waiting time will be charged when requested to wait over and above any appointed booking time by the passenger. The charge £20 p/h paid in 15 min increments.
- Whilst drivers will check for items left in their vehicles, it remains the passenger’s responsibility to ensure they take all personal belongings and effects with them at the end of a journey. Should an item be found by a driver, it will be brought into our premises for safe keeping and logged.
- All journeys are priced at the time of booking and are based on the quickest route (usually calculated by technology) at the start of the journey, which is not necessarily the shortest route
- Any additional charges for car parking, waiting, etc may be charged on top of the journey price quoted.
- We may vary our fares from our published tariff on certain days, ie; Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and some Bank Holidays like Boxing Day, New Years Eve or other periods of excessive demand, including during adverse weather conditions
